Alan has been a lifelong car nut. For almost 20 years, he has served as an SCCA class judge at concours d'elegance classic car shows in California, and he is currently a committee member and co-chief judge for the Marin Sonoma Concours d'Elegance. He has owned several classic cars, and is a regular participant in Northern California automobile meetings and events. He collects automobilia, and enjoys adding to his network of contacts in the San Francisco Bay Area classic car field.
David Love
David, the founder of Wheels, has been active with sports, racing, and historic automobiles since 1958. His long-time association with enthusiasts and collectors gives him access to cars that are ordinarily unavailable for commercial purposes. His own cars have been displayed at the Pebble Beach, Palo Alto, and Marin Sonoma concours d'elegance. He co-founded the first organization for historic racing on the West Coast. He was also a partner in a restoration business for vintage race cars, and worked in a shop specializing in Ferrari repair and restoration.
